Despite its sheerness and softness, it has an SPF rating of 15. Relaxed fit - not too body-hugging. Crease-free and will dry overnight. Won't pill. Will not retain its odour after washing - washes odour free. You can travel with 3 silkweight t-shirts for the same weight as 1 beefy cotton t-shirt. This is a hot climate fabric designed for moisture control.
